08/09 S/S Collection - Haute Couture
Usually Lacroix Couture is a little OTT for my taste, but this collection has some really beautiful, feminine pieces.

The intricate beading and beautiful cut of this piece was the first thing that caught my eye.
It manages to be soft and feminine while holding that quirkiness that defines Lacroix.
The shoes are gorgeous, and the tights and makeup finish the 'baby doll' look.
Simply adorable.

Some may consider this gold-plated Macbook to be ostentacious, but I beg to differ.
The only way this gorgeous piece of machinery could be improved would be to give it the 'Midas touch'!

A lady who knew style and elegance, Gabrielle Bonheur "Coco" Chanel is a lady I have always looked up to.
There is no need to buy into foolish trends and make a fool of yourself - do you seriously think those Daisy Dukes and cowboy boots give the impression of a respectable young woman?
Proverbs 11:22 says,
"Like a gold ring in a pig's snout is a beautiful woman who shows no discretion."
Take a leaf out of Coco's book.
She said, "Elegance is refusal."
So refuse to fit the trend. Dress like a lady, and behave like one too.
And by the way? Nobody looks good in leg warmers. Nobody.

I love how MK can wear the most simple outfit, and look so awesome.
Note that her clothes sit well, not hanging off as is the current trend (ew!) but not clingy either.
With a good pair of chocolate-brown pumps and a big, gold necklace this look goes from day to night.
I love her rings, very cute.
