Kingdom Mentality P2

What kind of Kingdom are we living in?
It's a Kingdom where the King wears a crown of thorns, and washes His subjects' feet.
It's a Kingdom where the subjects are heirs and co-heirs of the Power of the King.
There is a two-sided dynamic working in this Kingdom. Those who don't live by it fall into deception and lose authority.

Power and Humility
These work like a scale; they must be in balance and proportion with one another.

To be effective in this Kingdom, we must live by the King's example in humility, or there will be no power behind what we do.
There are many who call themselves Christians, but operate out of a Spirit of pride; which brings false power.
This is how the Enemy deceives them. So continually guard your hearts!
Don't be afraid to step out in faith and exercise your Power and Authority in Christ, but by the same token we must have a healthy reverential fear of God to keep us in check.

Things to ponder...
How is the Kingdom of God like a worldly Kingdom?
How is it different?

I'm hoping to expand on these at a later date. When I have less assessment. Happy

Running after You

As I run up the hill I feel my muscles strain,
As I run down the other side the Gospel's pumping through my veins
The fire burns
In my spirit, soul, and now my body,
The determination,
The dedication in my spirit,
To serve my Lord with my heart both spiritual and physical,
One is eternal, the other is flesh.
Pumping to the rhythm of His heartbeat
My feet pound the earth,
My Spirit pounds the Enemy,
Powers and principalities crumbling at my feet.
The sweat on my brow is testament to the blood He shed for me,
Salty drips no longer tears but magnificent determination:
A woman of God,
Relentless in her pursuit
Of holiness and wholeness,
Mind, body and spirit.
